Keep me laughing, CROCKET..........keep me laughing!

How the hell can these people even THINK about fixing a water line when they don't even have them in much of mexico? They can't understand English so that the contractor is left with 'showing them by sign language' what needs to be done.

If you want to feel better and get a chuckle to boot think MEXICAN ELECTRICAL WORK. Want to see a non English speaker do code work?
OYE, that's a fire hazard from the get go. Flames shooting out of the walls, hot spots wherever, wires just cut willy nilly. It's amazing that we don't have more devastating fires in the cities. At least with 'water,' all you need is a dingy but with electric one might need a whole fleet of fire trucks with YOUR WATER
Well, so far the only illegal alien electrical work I've seen is when they got up on the roof of our building and stole all the copper.
    OMG.........CROCKET!
scrap Copper's worth a pretty $1 per pound now! They do take it right out of the buildings - not just the Illegals either.

Damn, but I'm going to fall off of my chair and the dogs think I'm crazzzzy. They're looking at me with very quisical, confused looks.

Tell me about it. And that's a true story. The little buggers are hitting all the industrial parks in the area and stealing copper water and coolant lines as well as wire and cable. Because we have so much cable, we've had to install a SERIOUS alarm system and iron security bars or else they'd wipe us out in a weekend. Between scrap copper from bad lengths of 4/0 and all our aluminum scrap, we build up a pretty substantial scrap kitty that we use for company parties and picnics. Copper has come down a bit, though, since that Argentinian miners strike ended.

LOL, we sure do too. I Give it to my foreman....he deserves it with what he has to put up with in those filthy, rat / roach infested cities and buildings.
