A new and still forming group of local citizens calling themselves NC Voice has announced a rally Saturday August 4th on the Court Square in Graham from 9AM til 1PM to protest the open borders policy in Washington. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome but if you plan to bring a message of racism or hatred to the event be advised you will be asked to leave or removed by the police if necessary. No such behavior will be tolerated! Also, it is requested that you leave political endorsements or related literature at home this time because the group has one message and that is to "secure our borders and enforce existing immigration laws". You will of course be free to discuss your politics as you desire but no campaign literature please! Professionally prepared signs will be made available for those who want to hold one, and anyone bringing a sign will need approval from the group to display it. Please, please, bring a 3'x5' or smaller US flag if you have one. Veterans of the US military are especially encouraged to participate and we are all thankful for their service and sacrifice!

HELP N. CAROLINA Save Their STATE!

If you are within driving distance, please consider adding your voice to theirs.

Americans don't have the advantage to be paid & bussed into areas around the country as the ILLEGAL ALIENs and their supporters do.
We support one another on our own dime. We use our American Spirit and passion within the Rule of Law to protect our communities.

A Protest Against Open Borders Rally was planned for August 4th from 9AM until 1PM in downtown Graham on the Court Square and will be spearheaded by Mr. Kim Oliver, who has been outspoken on the issue of illegal immigration of late.

He, along with the other members of NC Voice ask that anyone concerned about the issue of illegal immigration come and stand with them to be counted. "It is imperative that the public participate in these events to demonstrate to one another that they are not alone in this fight", says Mr. Oliver. "Fear, timidity, or just plain apathy won't cut it anymore! This is a national issue and a community problem and it's time the residents of Alamance County stood up and spoke out!", another member replied.

Alamance County, NC gets a new Voice on Immigration!

July 15, 2007 was a historic day for Alamance County. For the first time, concerned and determined citizens met and agreed to form the advocacy group NC Voice in protest of the lack of enforcement of our immigration laws. The meeting was attended by a number of local citizens from Alamance County as well as guests from surrounding areas of the state.

It was decided during the meeting to submit a proposed "Immigration Relief Act Ordinance" that is reportedly already before the Forsyth County Commission to our own County Commissioners for consideration. It is reportedly now before the County Attorney for review and if feasible, will be presented to the Commissioners for consideration. The group is awaiting the outcome of the County Attorney's assessment.

Everyone in attendance agreed to continue to organize and reach out to the community for support. A Protest Against Open Borders Rally was planned for August 4th from 9AM until 1PM in downtown Graham on the Court Square and will be spearheaded by Mr. Kim Oliver, who has been outspoken on the issue of illegal immigration of late.

Questions, comments, or pledges of support are desired and welcomed. NC Voice is still forming and needs members. They can be contacted by mail at: NC Voice, P.O. Box 124, Swepsonville, NC 27359. Please include any contact information such as name, address, and phone number (specify daytime/night) so that you can be advised of upcoming meetings or events. NC Voice is a group advocating enforcement of existing immigration law and secure borders. No participation by anyone espousing racist ideals or radical behavior will be permitted or tolerated. This is a local grassroots movement in favor of legal immigration and the recognition of the rule of law.
