August 4th Rally planned for North Carolina
A new and still forming group of local citizens calling themselves NC Voice has announced a rally Saturday August 4th on the Court Square in Graham from 9AM til 1PM to protest the open borders policy in Washington. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome but if you plan to bring a message of racism or hatred to the event be advised you will be asked to leave or removed by the police if necessary. No such behavior will be tolerated! Also, it is requested that you leave political endorsements or related literature at home this time because the group has one message and that is to "secure our borders and enforce existing immigration laws". You will of course be free to discuss your politics as you desire but no campaign literature please! Professionally prepared signs will be made available for those who want to hold one, and anyone bringing a sign will need approval from the group to display it. Please, please, bring a 3'x5' or smaller US flag if you have one. Veterans of the US military are especially encouraged to participate and we are all thankful for their service and sacrifice!

HELP N. CAROLINA Save Their STATE!
If you are within driving distance, please consider adding your voice to theirs.
Americans don't have the advantage to be paid & bussed into areas around the country as the ILLEGAL ALIENs and their supporters do.
We support one another on our own dime. We use our American Spirit and passion within the Rule of Law to protect our communities.
A Protest Against Open Borders Rally was planned for August 4th from 9AM until 1PM in downtown Graham on the Court Square and will be spearheaded by Mr. Kim Oliver, who has been outspoken on the issue of illegal immigration of late.
He, along with the other members of NC Voice ask that anyone concerned about the issue of illegal immigration come and stand with them to be counted. "It is imperative that the public participate in these events to demonstrate to one another that they are not alone in this fight", says Mr. Oliver. "Fear, timidity, or just plain apathy won't cut it anymore! This is a national issue and a community problem and it's time the residents of Alamance County stood up and spoke out!", another member replied.

Alamance County, NC gets a new Voice on Immigration!
July 15, 2007 was a historic day for Alamance County. For the first time, concerned and determined citizens met and agreed to form the advocacy group NC Voice in protest of the lack of enforcement of our immigration laws. The meeting was attended by a number of local citizens from Alamance County as well as guests from surrounding areas of the state.
It was decided during the meeting to submit a proposed "Immigration Relief Act Ordinance" that is reportedly already before the Forsyth County Commission to our own County Commissioners for consideration. It is reportedly now before the County Attorney for review and if feasible, will be presented to the Commissioners for consideration. The group is awaiting the outcome of the County Attorney's assessment.
Everyone in attendance agreed to continue to organize and reach out to the community for support.
Questions, comments, or pledges of support are desired and welcomed. NC Voice is still forming and needs members. They can be contacted by mail at: NC Voice, P.O. Box 124, Swepsonville, NC 27359. Please include any contact information such as name, address, and phone number (specify daytime/night) so that you can be advised of upcoming meetings or events. NC Voice is a group advocating enforcement of existing immigration law and secure borders. No participation by anyone espousing racist ideals or radical behavior will be permitted or tolerated. This is a local grassroots movement in favor of legal immigration and the recognition of the rule of law.

Thank you for combining your efforts to take back our country. Perhaps in the near future we will have groups like yours in every state. It appears that patience is wearing thin throughout the country. Good luck on the 4th. Please let us have a report after the rally.

No, thank you USA for helping me get this off the ground. You and the Chapel Hill Blog have been the match that lit this firecracker and you deserve the credit! I look forward to thanking you guys in person!
Here is the latest on the event:
Please try to attend! I just got confirmation the President of ALIPAC, William Gheen will speak around 11 and we may have some other "guest speakers" who have not yet confirmed.
Directions from Raleigh:
40 East to exit 147, right at bottom of ramp- straight ahead several blocks to event venue
From Greensboro:
40 West to exit 147, left at bottom of ramp- straight ahead to event venue
After passing Buscuitville on your right begin looking for a closed bank or business lot to park in. Please do not park in the strip mall parking lot on the right or the Library /Fire/Police lot on the left one block before the event. They will certainly have you towed! There should be any number of spaces available within three blocks of the event, but please don't park on the street within one block of the event so there will space for customers of the downtown businesses which will be open. If you can spend a buck or two while there they will surely be more receptive to your visit as well!
The Court House is in the center of the square and event proper is permitted for the court house perimeter only. Traffic cannot be impeded or event will be terminated by local police. The Police Chief stated that he would not remove citizens milling about the circle on the opposite side of the street from the event venue unless they began to organize or appear threatening. He was of course referring to opposition protesters having no valid permit to protest as a group. He stated ANYONE has the right to walk to and fro and shout their opinions at us, so I guess that means opinions aligned with ours is fine too so long as we keep signs and symbols of organization within the perimeter of the venue only.

Have you contacted the local conservative talk radio stations to see if they will announce the event? You may get lucky and find a sympathetic ear, ask for the program director, show producer or news room. Please take pictures and report back to us after the rally.
