3 charged with running prostitution ring at massage parlor

YUMA, AZ -- Three women from a Somerton massage parlor have each been charged with multiple felonies in connection with running a prostitution ring out of the business.

Authorities say 54-year-old Won Sil Shim, 53-year-old Muae Park and 31-year-old Hyun Joo Song were arrested Friday as part of an ongoing investigation conducted by several law enforcement agencies.

The three women are all Korean citizens, but authorities say only Song is suspected of being an illegal immigrant. Shim has been released from custody after posting more than $10,000 bail while authorities say Park and Song remain jailed.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents -- along with the Arizona Department of Public Safety officers and Somerton police -- investigated Smile Spa Massage after citizen complaints.
