4 Facing Human Smuggling Charges

ANTHEM - Four people will be charged on state smuggling and co-conspirator charges after a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies stopped a white Chevy Tahoe for speeding near I-17 and Sonoran Blvd.

There were 11 people inside the vehicle. Deputies detained all the occupants and turned some of them over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Adrian Isidro Hernangil-Perez, Luis Armando Dez-Acosta, Filimon Alcantara-Velasco, and Melquiades Alcantara-Velasco were booked into the 4th Ave Jail.
