Republican Rep. hopefuls debate at forum Tuesday

BULLHEAD CITY - Three candidates vying for the Republican nomination for District 3 state representative appeared at a well-attended forum Tuesday night at the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce, which co-sponsored the forum with the Arizona Clean Elections Commission.
Challenger Doris Goodale of Kingman faced incumbents Trish Groe of Lake Havasu City and Nancy McLain of Bullhead City. Both Groe and McLain were first elected in 2004 and are seeking their third term in office.
The candidates were allowed time for opening and closing statements. The remainder of the forum was dedicated to the candidates answering questions from the audience, read by moderator Bruce Clark from KLBC/Channel 2.
All three candidates stressed their fiscal conservatism, but Groe also emphasized her social conservatism. Both Groe and McLain criticized Arizona's Democratic governor, Janet Napolitano. She's “fast and loose with your money,â€
