We don't answer our door anymore unless we are expecting someone. We also both have concealed carry permit and travel everywhere with a gun. Houston has become a crime ridden war zone.

As a resident of Northern California, I will never vote for increased taxes until issues from illegal immigration to outrageous public salaries and pensions are addressed first, really addressed.
Unless, as an example, someone can justify why S.F. top cops get, on the back of the taxpayer, these salaries:
