Perhaps Buck is a candidate we can support. Usually a "hardliner" as defined by the MSM is someone who has the audacity to actually listen to his constituents and enforce the law:

Bennet gets a challenger in Colorado

Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck, a Republican known for his hard-line views on illegal immigration, is officially running against appointed Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet in the Colorado Senate race.

Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck, a Republican known for his hard-line views on illegal immigration, is officially running against appointed Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet in the Colorado Senate race.

Buck, who launched his Senate campaign website Monday, will most likely face Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier in the GOP primary. Frazier announced earlier in the month that he was forming a Senate exploratory committee.

All eyes are now on former Rep. Bob Beauprez (R-Colo.), who is still mulling over a Senate campaign and has higher name identification than both Buck and Frazier.

As district attorney, Buck has cut a high profile on immigration — a critical issue for another prominent Colorado GOP politician, former Rep. Tom Tancredo. Buck authorized a raid last year against a Hispanic-run tax services business as part of a crackdown against illegal immigrants using false Social Security numbers.

A poll released last week by Public Policy Polling showed that 41 percent of voters disapprove of Bennet’s job performance, with only 34 percent approving.

Bennet trails Beauprez 43 percent to 42 percent in a hypothetical matchup and leads the lesser-known Frazier and Buck by single digits.
