    Beware of the Republican Establishment

    Beware of the Republican Establishment
    by Bay Buchanan
    10/06/2009

Between the town hall meetings and the tea party rallies, millions of Americans are taking to the streets to protest a government gone berserk. They are angry and determined to take their country back. But there are snakes in the grass intent on using this movement to return to power, not the people, but the Republican establishment. If this happens we lose everything, including our country.

To succeed, the rebellion must produce candidates with fresh faces--populists who share our outrage for the arrogance of Washington, individuals who will fight for American workers and American families. We need primaries to nominate candidates that aren’t owned by party leaders, powerful special interests, nor Corporate America.

Last year, seventy-five percent of Americans believed the country was headed in the wrong direction and they threw out the bums -- Republican bums. Obama and his comrades misinterpreted the victory, believing it was all about them, and proceeded to impose a big government leftist agenda on a conservative nation. Now voters are ready to throw out this new set of bums.

Enter the Republican establishment. They sold this country out when they were in power and can’t ever be trusted again. But they see an opening and are setting the stage for their own return. They are handpicking candidates -- Bush-likes and Bush-lites -- to run against conservatives in primaries. Many are retreads, all are available for purchase. Then the party elite endorses their candidate early in the primary, fills their coffers with millions from corporate PACs and special interests, pressures party regulars to get in line, and sends word to the grassroots candidates: “Drop out -- you can’t winâ€

None of the Republicans voted for the Stimulus bill.

Many Americans are voting issue not party. Americans watch C-Span and go to senate.org and listen to Fox and have been getting a very clear picture about WHO and/or what party is representing them.

About John McCain, he might as well be a member of the hijacked Democrat party.

But there are snakes in the grass intent on using this movement to return to power, not the people, but the Republican establishment. If this happens we lose everything, including our country.

I guess this author hasn't heard about obama's Czars, about the hate crimes bill, about the re-emergence of the Fairness doctrine, about the bank bail out’s, about the push for amnesty, about the fake energy bill that will cause our businesses to crumble, about the gov’t trying to take over our home gardens and/or sources of food and water, and/or read about the health care reform bill that gives illegals and/or newly amnestied in illegals "free" health care on our dime. And the American people being fined 25,000 dollar fine and a year in jail for not paying for gov't mandated health care. And yet, the American people may not even qualify for health care if the gov’t says they are too old and not worth the expense of care while illegals and/or anchors will be moved to the front of the line.

If we lose everything it will because the Democratic party has been hijacked by a fascist anti-American regime.

    Texas Governors Race

Here in Texas we have no one running for Governor who I would vote for. Perry is no good and neither is Senator Hutchison. We need someone to run for governor who believes like we do. So far we have no one.

Sad to say she is correct many in the republican party are try to move the party to the left one big reason for McCain losing.Graham, Snow and others fit this pattern, the GOP needs to rid themselves of these people and return to conservative values or we move to a third party which would insure a democrat win.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

We cant let people like John McCain get back into the picture. It was traitors like him that made people leave the republican party and vote for a fool.

I see some feel uncomfortable when I point to Republicans not being the answer. I voted straight ticket Republican for 43 years until Bush signed the SPP well into his second term. I immediately began a campaign to educate people who are apparently still in denial about what is really happening. Republicans circled the wagon around the party and lost America. We don’t need to do that again. There are organizations out there to help states find opponents to people like McCain, Graham. The Republican Party is filled with them.

Shortly after Bush signed onto the SPP…I for the first time in my life signed onto the Internet to warn citizens. The news at Human Events and other such conservative medias were daily serving up “truth on the half-shell with omission being the damnest lie of allâ€

    From the "Lonewacko" Blog

Karl Rove donates to Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush neutral. Does that confirm my hunch?

    From this:

Over the past few weeks, Florida GOP Gov. Charlie Crist has found himself being put on the defensive more and more in the primary thanks to the challenge by ex-state House Speaker Marco Rubio. While Crist has financially overwhelmed Rubio to date, there are many Republicans -- particularly those in Flordia that are close to former GOP Gov. Jeb Bush -- who have publicly become more comfortable airing their skepticism about Crist in public. One of those Republicans with close ties to the Bush family, Karl Rove, has signaled his preference with his wallet. Rove confirms to NBC News that he has contributed a $1000 to Rubio's campaign, the donation will be made public when Rubio files his next FEC report (due Oct. 15)... This comes on the heels of Jeb Bush's public signal that he plans to stay neutral in the Crist-Rubio primary; Many believe this is Jeb's way of quietly telling influential Florida Republicans that he'd prefer Rubio but doesn't want to alienate Crist since he's still the heavy favorite in the primary.

Needless to say, Jeb Bush is a strong supporter of massive immigration and amnesty; Rove was probably the "evil genius" (so to speak) behind George W Bush's loose borders and amnesty/guest workers efforts. Neither one of them would support someone who opposes massive immigration and amnesty, strongly giving credence to my hunch that Marco Rubio supports massive immigration, whether of the guest worker or amnesty variety.

The Dems and Repubs both sold out America long ago. A Peoples Third Party or a large number of Independents must arise or we are doomed.
