As the Boston Herald reported, passengers aboard a Greyhound bus in Canada said that shortly after they re-boarded following a break, the suspect suddenly stabbed the man sitting next to him several dozen times as others ran away in horror. He then severed the man’s head, displayed it and began hacking at the body. The attacker then ate parts of the victim’s body. Vince Weiguang Li, who immigrated to Canada from China in 2004, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 22-year-old carnival worker Tim McLean.

This is yet another tragic murder that could have been prevented by armed citizens. Here, over 30 unarmed bus riders fled the bus in terror, while a fellow citizen was brutally stabbed to death and eaten. Had there been an armed citizen on that bus, the attacker might have been stopped in time to save Tim McLean’s life. For the good of society, the answer to crimes such as this, and the school shootings, is to enable law abiding citizens to carry a firearm for self defense. Since the people bent on committing crimes will carry a gun regardless of the law, anti gun laws only serve to disarm the people who were not going to commit crimes in the first place. Unfortunately there was not one armed, law abiding citizen on that bus, due to Canada’s anti-gun-rights law, which prevent self defense. Instead, we have 1 murder victim, and more than 30 people who will have to live with themselves for running away, instead of trying to stop a murdering cannibal.

This is a common form of schizophrenia known as "gang stalking paranoia". Many victims of this mental illness believe that a "group" forms whose sole purpose is to make the victim's life miserable. I have noticed among the conspiracy crowd a recent increase in people claiming that they are being "gang stalked" - basically, they believe that there are tens to hundreds of people hired to "stalk" them (for reasons unknown, they usually believe they have 'exposed' the government or something) by harassing them every time they are out in public.

This is a rather scary phenomena because the claims are similar to paranoid schizophrenia. These people have grouped together online and have formed their own little mini-victim's community and language - they call themselves "targeted individuals."

Of course, anyone who questions them is told they are part of the gang stalking, and no proof or evidence can be offered for the claims. The people who claim they are gang stalked take every day normal events and say that is "proof" that they are gang stalked. For example, if they see the same person that lives around them somewhere else in town, this is proof of gang stalking.

Is the conspiracy crowd now catering to the mentally ill (I guess they always have, but this is a bit extreme), or are these people infiltrating the conspiracy crowd? Any thoughts on this?

There are now alot of websites written by people who believe that they are being followed. Such a person may believe that he is being tailgated in traffic on "purpose" because he has knowledge of government corruption and is being stalked to "threaten him" into not talking. Ridiculous, of course, but if such a person gets laid off his job he may believe that the government is attempting to persecute him and go postal. They may also believe that the government has hired special agents to broadcast "special energy beam" into the person's mind for the purpose of driving him insane:

This explains a lot of the comments that are posted on the internet.

Comments about the other political party, politicians, Socialism, gun control, etc.

It can go in the other direction, too. People are coming up with proof that temporary workers from other countries defraud the USCIS with fake resumes and fabricated backgrounds. The foreigners will then try to make it sound like the American who points this out is "paranoid" or a "conspiracy" nut.
