BoA response to my email
Dear "TyRANTosaur",
Thank you for your inquiry dated 2/16/07 regarding Other. We will be
happy to assist you.
Your concerns are very important to us.
We appreciate you taking the time to submit your comments and
suggestions. Please be aware that we are only providing banking to
legal aliens.
Bank of America prides itself on looking for innovative ways to extend
credit to individuals who have demonstrated sound financial management,
but may be challenged with building credit, such as life-long cash
users, or rebuilding their credit histories.
Like many of our programs, this credit card initiative is meant to
educate existing customers about building a solid credit history. We
use the same criteria to extend credit across our entire customer base.
Customers who sign up for this particular credit card program must meet
the following requirements:
- Have an existing deposit account.
- Have either a Social Security Number, SSN, or proof of United States
government federal taxpayer status, such as a federal government
Taxpayer ID Number, TIN. The USA PATRIOT Act customer ID requirements
are fulfilled for all Bank of America customers.
Given we have 5,700 banking centers throughout the country, this is a
very small pilot that educates and helps existing Hispanic customers
understand how to develop good credit history in 51 Los Angeles banking
centers.
Because you are an important customer to us, we would greatly
appreciate
the opportunity in keeping your account relationship with Bank of
America.
We are committed to keeping your customer information confidential,
safe, and secure while you are using Online Banking. If you are
concerned about the security and confidentiality of your account,
please
send us another message and we will be glad to assist you with any
concerns.
For any further assistance, please contact us at 1.800.432.1000.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We value you
as a customer and appreciate your business. If we may be of further
assistance, please contact us again by e-mail. Thank you for choosing
Bank of America.
Sincerely,
Shane Edwards

I e-mailed B of A and told them I was closing my account ( I don't have an account, my 40 year old son does though, so I felt this qualifed me to give them S___T!!) but a couple hours later I got an e-mail back that said they had to block my account as they thought someone was trying to access it. HA! HA! I was LOL, I think they are very overwhelmed right now with public out rage!!!

You know, I've always found it frustrating that BoA isn't located in many of the county seats around Texas. The work I do keeps me in these seats, even the small towns, and when I need money, I need a BoA. Instead, I have to pay the outrageous $2.50 fees to use someone elses ATM.
However, the bank has always been good to us. Heck, thanks to BoA (Bank of Italy back then), San Francisco had money following the great quake of 1905.
This is disappointing. Instead of helping the US like it helped SF, it is ADDING to the problem. The bad thing is, they don't have enough common sense to see that, nor do they see the possible damage that can come to them through delinquent accounts, etc. Bad form, BoA, bad form!THE POOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT IN MY AVATAR CROSSED OVER THE WRONG BORDER FENCE!!!

I am ready to write Bank of America and tell them that they are discriminating against all other immigrants such as Eastern Europeans among others as they are only catering to Hispanics.
Geico has a billboard by I95 in Hollywood in Spanish. I wonder if it says so easy an illegal can do it?
Wouldn't it be nice if all these businesses who cater to them lose big time if the illegals ever got kicked out of the country.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
