Nine Tons of Pot Seized From Trailer After Armed Smuggler Jumps Into Tunnel Hole
At about 5 a.m. Monday, a Border Patrol agent discovered an armed man and 860 bundles of marijuana after a Border Patrol canine alerted on a commercial storage trailer 360 yards north of the international border in Tecate, California.
The inside of the cross-border tunnel discovered by Border Patrol agents.
The dog alerted from hundreds of yards away, then led the agent to a commercial trailer in an area under recent construction. The agent heard commotion in the 30-foot trailer and spotted a man inside with a handgun tucked into his waistband. The subject quickly disappeared into a hole in the floor of the trailer. Hundreds of plastic-wrapped marijuana bundles filled half the trailer from floor to ceiling.
The Border Patrol’s Special Response Team immediately responded to the location and secured the scene.

San Diego Chief Patrol Agent Mike Fisher commented, “The diligent actions of a motivated Border Patrol agent resulted in the discovery of this potential threat to our nation. Seems to be these tunnels all end up under trailers of some kind on the US side. So start checking all buildings/trailers/storage facilities near the borders and fill up them holes!

There's probably a lot more of these. I hope that the Border Patrol, either when training the dogs OR when they are on duty, can increase the amount of investigation because I feel strongly that they will probably find a lot more of these tunnels. As everyone know, the cartels are very sneaky. After living in Mexico for more than 3 years doing missionary work, I received an education that no college could ever give me. There are still a lot of corrupt police and officials and given the right payment, they allow illegal activity to occur.
***My dad says that we should do what was done in Panama years ago***
Build a water barrier, DEEP AND WIDE, and let the oceans flow through this channel. If it is DEEP and WIDE "adios tunnels" and the flow of the water may be strong enough to deter crossing the channel by swimming. We can still build the fences as a double protect measure. From the Border Movie:
I will not sell my country out ~ I WILL NOT!
I'd like to see that pride back in AMERICA!!!
