    Border Patrol says driver in immigrant crash caught

    HYDER, Ariz. The Border Patrol says they tracked the driver of a crashed pickup across the desert for a day before capturing him.
    The pickup was packed with as many as 17 illegal immigrants when it crashed near Hyder Monday. One passenger was killed and at least a dozen others were flown to hospitals in Phoenix and Yuma.

    Border Patrol agent Lloyd Easterling says the driver and another man were found more than six miles away. They matched them to the men who ran from the crash by checking the soles of their shoes to footprints at the accident scene.

    And guess who picked up the hospital tab. Hmmmm...could it be the taxpayers of Arizona?
