NACO, Ariz. - Yesterday, Border Patrol agents from the Naco Station apprehended a man convicted of rape over 20 years ago, and a member of a dangerous Mexican street gang.

Border Patrol agents apprehended a man west of the Naco Port of Entry for illegally entering the United States, according to a release form Customs and Border Protection. Using the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System, agents learned that he was convicted for rape in 1990 in Kennewick, Washington. The subject will be criminally prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for Illegal Entry.

The same day, agents apprehended a Mexican national who has been removed from the U.S. before, CBP says. He is an admitted member of the Sueno 13 gang, and will be prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for Re-entry of a Felon.
