PintoBean, this is not the time to get weak at the knees. WE KNEW ALL ALONG when we began this fight that if we were serious about winning we were going to see this happen, and we're here. Quite actually we should be happy. All hell is breaking lose in Washington over illegal immigration. NOW THE TEST IS ON. We will see clearly who we want to keep as Representatives of the American People and who we will not keep.

Our Founding Fathers at this point would be praying for our strength and determination. The entire world would not want to make the United States there destination if it were not for the unprecedented determination they had. They passed that on to US, and we will call on everyone to stand strong and united at this time.

We will see victory for sure if we do what they taught US to do and that is to not give in.

Maybe some people in other countries will learn something so that THEY can help their countries. What would life be like without a country to love and be proud of. Many of these people coming to our country illegally don't have a clue about what it means to be responsible to and for a country.

Even some of US feel a little scared to be fighting back so hard against SOME of our leaders. Most of US are not used to that. But that's the thing about Americans, we don't let "scared" stop US.

You know, if the vote takes place, and we lose, it does NOT MATTER who we vote out of office, the mold will have been cast, our destination determined for us..............

Pinto Bean is right. There needs to be an organized march on Washington. The illegal Aliens have marched and some Congressmen are saying, 'well where are the Americans marching?? Kinda like, 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease'.

Notice we just saw march protests by Americans over the Iraq War. The march suggestion needs to be put before the big groups like FAIR, NumbersUSA and then all the smaller American Citizen Immigration reform Groups, like Oregonians for Imm. Reform, UFIRE (Utah..), Save Our State (Cali), etc. State by State. Time and money surely are the problem now.

ALL that I can say, is that it must be made clear to the Party who is responsible if a "guest"-amnesty bill becomes law which will be the Republicans. The Republican Party needs to be torn down and disintegrated over this action.

Thanks Ron...I really think if we are going to have ANY impact at all, we have to UNITE all the various splinter groups under one umbrella and put a serious march on Washington into effect, and it has TO BE DONE BEFORE THE FALL, so that the entire country knows what the costs are going to be to us as Middle Class Americans, and Washington DC knows we will see to it that whatever party it is that votes in AMNESTY will CEASE TO EXIST.

On a further note...been reading a lot of the Senate Sub Committee testimony on this issue, and one thing keeps coming up from big business....they swear they only HIRE ILLEGALS when they cannot match the job to a willing American. To thwart this lie, we need to do two things.

1) Force the federal government to create a tracking system that lists ALL JOBS IN AMERICA, and a co list of all workers, and the jobs they would be willing to take.

2) Increase the NATIONAL minimum wage to 10.50 per hour for all employees within the the legal borders of the United STates of AMerica. You pick corn, $10.50 and hour minimum wage guaranteed. If you take a job as a waitress, or a job as a maid in a motel or hotel, 10.50 and hour. In short, FORCE ALL EMPLOYERS to pay a LIVING WAGE. This would elimionate business arguements that there are jobs WE WILL NOT TAKE.
Let's PUT AND END to SLAVE WAGES IN AMERICA! Included in this, is a demand that all companies provide health care to ALL EMPLOYEES based on the number of hours they work compared to a 40 hour work week. If you work 40 or more hours a week, companies have to provide you FULL MAJOR MEDICAL COVERAGE at their expense. You work 30 hours, or what could be considered 3/4 time, then they have to pay for 75 percent of your major medical coverage. This would eliminate scabs like Walmart ducking their duty and foisting medical costs off on the state to be picked up by our taxes....time for us to STOP subsidizing corporate Americans labor costs through our taxes.

Having a national job and employee bank is truly the only way to MATCH LEGAL NATIVE AMERICANS TO JOBS before they are given away to scab labor from other countries.
