Brooks County passes resolution against Minutemen
    Oct 11, 2005, 03:47 PM
FALFURRIAS - Brooks County commissioners have passed a resolution opposing the "Minuteman Project". Tuesday morning, County Judge Joe Garcia and four commissioners approved the resolution which states, "The controversial group is a threat to public order and the safety of Brooks County residents."

The border watch group has set up camp in Falfurrias and plans to be on the lookout for illegal immigrants for the rest of the month.

How exactly are they wording these claims to get the resolution passed? What corroborating evidence do they have? The word of illegals? The ACLU?
