Thread: Businesses won't let immigration reform die

Could businesses being getting together to put up sites to put them in a good light - while pretending to be something else?

They very well could be. But i do know one thing, if we don't get off our butts and fight as hard as they are we don't stand a chance.

Your right we need to ask the administrators if they will give us hand with this This site is here so we can band together to make change not just have a place to go and complain. If that's the case i can just complain to my wife.

I really don't have much love for chicken anyhow.......so not a big sacrifice. But I will participate and inform people I know about this boycott. Any definite start date, or just start anytime?


The only thing these businesses understand is their bottom line. Let's make them hurt!

OK, I'm probably not the best one to head this up, but will ask around - just don't forget, get others involved while I see what ALIPAC thinks.

Anyone know how to make the logo - or avatar, isn't that what they call it.

It was just a white chicken, inside the red circle with a slash. It needs to be small enough to be used beside our posting name - but maybe so we could enlarge to go on emails.

Can someone do this. I remember the problem before, it was stored in Adobe and that presented a problem for some reason.

Photobucket is a good free site and it could be stored there and the link posted for all to copy it. Would that work?

Two thoughts:

By what will success be measured? We need something akin to the Powell doctrine; an exit strategy so that the end is clearly defined.

Can a poultry company be identified that does not use illegal immigrants? It would add to the drama if the fortunes of the good company climbed while the others declined. As well, we do not want to punish a company that does not hire illegal immigrants.

When we see Americans driving out at shift change - when we see they are hiring Americans rather than illegals - or simply making them temporary workers.

I don't think we should put a time limit on it - that would make them try to just outlast us.

We are not trying to hurt any business - just get their attention and try to make them see the harm they are doing this country and it's people.

But, by all means, if we can identify a company who hires Americans - not illegals - and not foreigners, who bring their families, I think we need to really give them some help. That's what this is all about - helping America, American workers, and those American companies who are at a disadvantage because of subsidized labor.

I hope we can get some input from people around the country who would know.

I agree on Pro-American - they may just be being overly optimistic - or otherwise.

I haven't forgotten - have contacted someone about Alipac to see if we can post about it here. The last thing I want to do is something that is against the rules here.
