19 fugitives arrested, $2.8 million in drugs seized at border crossings

Customs and Border Protection officers arrested 19 fugitives and nearly $2.8 million worth of drugs at border crossings in San Diego and Imperial Valley counties over the weekend, authorities said.

From Friday to Sunday, officers seized 402 pounds of methamphetamine, 344 pounds of marijuana, 55 pounds of cocaine and 7 pounds of heroin, customs officials said. The drugs were found stashed in various vehicles — inside a fuel tank, spare tire, dashboard, quarter panels and other areas — at several ports of entry.

In at least one instance, officers found narcotics strapped to people as they tried to enter the U.S., customs officials said.

The fugitives were wanted on outstanding felony warrants for crimes including theft, assault and others related to drugs.

Their names were not released.

The meth, cocaine and heroin coming in destroys many lives - SICK - A - NING! This was intercepted, how much is not? What kind of country is mexico that all this flagrant rampant excessive amounts of dangerous drugs is present and moved @?
How can they even present themselves as a nation we should have any respect for or want any of its citizens here in our country, let alone the millions that sneakered in? The drug cartels are set up all across our nation and the "good" illegals contribute to their presence and enable their operation in many ways.
