Los Angeles -- With the objective to fight for public policies that benefit the undocumented immigrants, activists, students and members of community organizations left yesterday bound for Sacramento to maintain meetings with legislators.

Anabella Bastidas, organizer of COFEM, said that among the proposals that they will promote during the trip (to Sacramento) is the E-Verify (AB2076) that would prohibit the state of California to participate in an electronic employment verification system unless it is required by federal laws.

Funny, even as CA is treading water trying to stay afloat, the reconquistas are still doing their damndest to drown it.

What I'd like to know is when our government is going to take all of the information they have gathered on what is really going on there......and let's be realistic, we all know they've got plenty.......and do something about what has become an overt take over of one of our states.
