Story by 13 On Your Side Newsroom

OCOTILLO, Calif. – Border Patrol agents teamed up with other law enforcement agencies to rescue four illegal immigrants who got lost, one of whom was dehydrated and in need of medical help.

The four men—who had illegally entered the U.S.—were near Plaster City when they got lost.

One of them called 911 at around 4:33 pm on Thursday to ask for help.

A helicopter rescue team found one of the men, airlifted him and gave him medical aid for dehydration.

Border Patrol agents detained the others.

The four men, who were between the ages of 22 and 38, were taken into custody and transported to the El Centro Border Patrol Station for processing for being illegally present in the United States.
