SACRAMENTO • Living up to his hard-line stance on illegal immigration, freshman Assemblyman Tim Donnelly has proposed legislation that would end in-state tuition breaks for illegal aliens.
Assembly Bill 63 would deny illegal immigrants eligibility for reduced in-state tuition at schools within the California State University and California community college systems. Current law offers tuition breaks to any student who has attended a California high school for three years, regardless of immigration status.
AB 63 would also require the state to provide in-state tuition rates to military members and their families who have been transferred to a duty station in California without enough time to complete three years at a California high school.

Glad to see someone with some common sense.... but, with the far left wing DemoRAT legislature firmly In control of the "Identity politics" here In Caleeefornia,It will go nowhere. The DemoRATS will side with the Illegals as always... to hell with AMERICAN CITIZENS California continues to slide Into a bottomless pit of Illegals and their anchors. California's last gasp will be the signiture drive to repeal birthright citizenship. If It gets on the ballot In 2012 It WILL PASS. But then,a far left liberal judge will block It,just like they did on proposition 187. When the far left does not like the way a particular vote comes out,or they do not like a particular bill after It passes, they just take It to court and shoot It down. That Is why Caleeeefornia Is In deep deep trouble... TS

Good going, Rep Donnelly!!! If the CA liberalist DEMS shoot AB63 down the first time, do what Cedillo does, bring the bill back the following week and if it fails again, attach it to another bill the next week, and if it fails to pass, attach it to another bill and keep presenting it week after week after week just like the LA RAZA CA reps do in California... CA Republicans can learn much from their "tactics"!!!

It's going to take something very drastic to reverse the damage caused by these invaders. Even then, it has to survive the judicial activists sitting up on the 9th circus, who have yet to meet an illegal invader they did not feel compelled to save.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
