New law aimed at day laborers
Mission Viejo enacts a no-trespassing ordinance similar to one passed in neighboring Lake Forest.

MISSION VIEJO – "No trespassing" signs will soon be posted at businesses throughout the city.
The City Council unanimously approved a citywide no-trespassing ordinance after four public speakers spoke in support of it. The ordinance is modeled after a similar ordinance in Lake Forest that was passed in October.
Complaints of loitering arose from residents and business owners at the beginning of January after an increasing number of day laborers began congregating in the city.
"This has affected all of our businesses," said Paymen Emamian, Silverado Plaza property owner. "It is detracting tenants from coming into our plaza."
The laborers gather at the corner of Jeronimo Road and Los Alisos Boulevard.
The increase came after property owners in Lake Forest hired a guard to enforce the ordinance at shopping centers on Jeronimo Road at Orange and Cherry avenues.
The Mission Viejo ordinance approved Monday states that a property owner can file a complaint with the Sheriff's Department if a trespasser refuses to leave the property. No-trespassing signs must be posted throughout the property, and violators can be cited or arrested. The ordinance will take effect in 30 days.
"It seems to have worked for Lake Forest, and we are hoping it will work as well here," said Mayor Gail Reavis.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Ca votes
why don't CA voters elect individuals who don't support illegals. As long as they keep electing people like their governor they will have problems. All they are doing is allowing access to rest of the country and now they want to chase them out of CA instead of enforcing the immigration laws.

As for chasing them out of some areas they have plenty to feel safe around this state so don't worry too much. It's the cost of housing that is causing many to leave this state, in my opinion.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn
