Make fun of Bush all you want but Felipe Calderon has done nothing to no one.

He wants to keep Mexicans in Mexico. Hes just asking for much needed help. How do you expect the U.S. to get rid of illeagals alone. Dont you think it would be better with help from Mexicos President?

Calderon said the family members pay taxes in the United States and "probably handle that which you eat, the lettuce, etc." But he avoided saying whether they were there legally.
Alberto Gonzales "avoided" questions about family status too. I guess he didn't want to be referred to as an "anchor baby".

“Yes,” Calderón said, “I have family in the United States and what I can say is that they are people who work and respect the country, people who pay taxes to your government, people who harvest the vegetables you probably eat, people who serve food in restaurants, people who contribute to the prosperity of the United States.”

In the interview Friday, Calderón said that between "five and 20" of his relatives have migrated and that he does not know their current immigration statuses or whether they entered legally. The relatives include "cousins, uncles and in-laws," he said.

"I'd rather not say who they are," Calderón said.
He doesn't even know how many of his relatives are here. Says he doesn't know their status. How in the world does he know whether or not they pay taxes?

Political rule number one: If politicians don't deny it, then it's probably true.

Calderon knows where they are and im sure he knows the legal status. he does not want it to be known that they are illegals.
if he wants to keep people at home he would have military on the border to keep his people in his country

    Oh so right, James.

Are they still giving out border crossing maps in Mexico?
