If Trump has nominated the right folks, he shouldn't have to trouble himself with this stuff. We all know our future Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, is a strict law and order kind of guy. I'm fairly certain he will do whatever is necessary to ensure California adheres to all federal laws, especially immigration law. Let's just hope our new Secretary of DHS will be as tough on interior enforcement as we know Sessions will be on ensuring our laws are respected and followed.

Our future Secretary of DHS seems to be well qualified to deal with our border security issues, however, I'm not sure how qualified he is to operate the interior enforcement side of the job. Hopefully he'll have a strong staff of underlings with the experience and qualifications necessary to strong-arm interior enforcement.
