Thread: California young people boost diversity ?

This enormous population diversity is why I discourage my family members from coming to California. It is like living in a foreign country now and they would feel like strangers in their own land. I certainly do.

"When we're able to connect to people in their own language and culture, they feel more connected to this place,"

The balkanization of California is the main drawback to a connection to America. This advanced exaggeration of cultural differences most assuredly works as an opposing force to assimilation.

As far as the heavy Latino population and their large families, that is the result of illegal immigration over the last 40 years.

I too am from California,and I have watched my home town of Fresno become a crime ridden,grafitti painted,gang Infested,hit and run capital of northern California. A MAJORITY of the outdoor advertising signs are now In SPANISH. Everywhere you go people are speaking SPANISH. Home Depot and LOWES both make announcements In SPANISH. Wal-Mart has signs In their stores IN SPANISH. Something drastic needs to be done,and just sitting here talking about It won't do It!!! I am more than willing to get out In the streets with my fellow CITIZENS and say ENOUGH !!!!! We need to organize hundreds of thousands of CITIZENS,and we need to do It NOW !!!!! TS

Actually we don't have diversity here, what we have is DISPLACEMENT, Americans of all races being displaced by Latin Americans, by Latin American culture and language and corruption and third world dump manners.

No problem TS. The article is old though, and the illegal aliens have left bankrupt CA, which they helped to bankrupt, and moved to better economies to work on. They have followed in the footsteps of the Americans that ran East, away from them. Unless Congress stops it, and deports them. It'll be interesting to see how large the Catholic Church grows , wherever the illegals go.
