Role: DANI RAHMAN - Pakistani-American young man. Meena's brother who always disapproved of her relationship with Rudy and blames Rudy for a series of tragic events fueled by racism and violence.
Female - Other Ethnicity - 20 to 23

Role: RAJ RAHMAN - Pakistani man. Father of Dani and Meena. Filled with distrust and hatred towards his daughter Meena's boyfriend Rudy and his family. Allows his temper to escalate to the point that a heated situation takes a tragic turn.
Male - Other Ethnicity - 40 to 45

Role: SAFIA RAHMAN - Pakistani woman. Mother of Dani and Meena. Tries to be understanding about her
daughter's love for Rudy and tries to keep the peace within her family and between her family and Rudy's. Tries to
reach out to Rudy's mother when hatred-fueled events take a tragic turn, but is met only with racism and rage. Tries desperately to keep her family together at all costs.
Female - Other Ethnicity - 40 to 43

Role: RUDY - Queens native from an Italian-American family. His love for his Pakistani-American
girlfriend Meena and his attempt to explain his intentions to her family cause reactions of rage-filled racism in both families and lead to acts of violence that devastate both.
Male - All Ethnicities - 20 to 23

Role: CECELIA - Italian-American, Queens native. Rudy's mother. Against her son's relationship with a Pakistani-American woman. Outspoken in her racism, she believes that Meena's family are terrorists and blame them when Rudy's involvement with Meena takes a tragic turn.
Female - Caucasian - 47 to 49

Role: JOSEPH ABRUZZO - Italian-American. Rudy's uncle. Looks like an old-style wise guy. His attempt to lift the spirits of his lovelorn nephew Rudy lead to unforeseen trouble when they are questioned by Logan and
Wheeler as to their whereabouts. His prejudice and anger find a violent outlet when events take a tragic turn.
Male - Caucasian - 40 to 43

Role: MEENA RAHMAN - Pakistani-American girl. Lovely, bright-eyed young woman. Her commitment to documenting racist anti-immigrant protests on camera leads her into a situation filled with more violence, rage, and danger than she anticipated. In her own life, her star-crossed love affair with Rudy Venito, a Queens native, fosters racist rage in both families with tragic results.
Female - Other Ethnicity - 18 to 20

Role: AKMED - Pakistani man - speaks with a slight accent. A bit threatening-looking. Meena's family has arranged for her to marry him. Upon arriving from Pakistan to meet his intended bride, he discovers that she is in love with Rudy and does not share his traditional beliefs. He makes his intense displeasure at her behavior known to Meena's family and later to Logan and Wheeler.
Male - Other Ethnicity - 27 to 29

Role: NATE - From Jewish family in Queens. Ringleader and participant in a protest against illegal immigrants that gets out of hand and takes a violent turn. Questioned by Logan and Wheeler about his encounter with Meena, who videotaped his violent threats to a group of illegal immigrants.
Male - Caucasian - 22 to 26

Role: DET. ANGLER - Detective who walks Logan and Wheeler through the crime scene.
Female or Male - All Ethnicities - 31 to 36

Role: EMILY BERG - Enthusiastic art history major. A little downtown funky look. Questioned by Logan and Wheeler about Meena's documentary film projects and her personal life.
Female - Caucasian - 18 to 20

Role: LOLLY - Organized hooker at a Queens cathouse. Slight Eastern European accent. Questioned by Logan and Wheeler about one of her recent clients.
Female - All Ethnicities - 24 to 27
