Thread: CBS draws fire over illegal alien report

Maybe the LaRaza and MALDEF bunch will march on CBS next. That should make for some interesting viewing! I can see the headlines now: Illegal Immigrants Protest Honest News Reporting - Demand the Truth Go Back Into Hiding!

When you stop to think about the Big Picture, whether they cost us $1 or $10 billion, THEY ARE STILL ILLEGALLY HERE, right? THAT IS THE POINT, LA RAZA AND MALDEF! Get with the program, whydontcha!

if everything was so wrong, how come groups like LaRaza and MALDEF are never suing anyone for damages?? anyone ever thought about this ???
or is it that they have no proff that its wrong that they just send out threatening letters to boycott and silence people

Groups like La Raza and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) have written a letter of complaint to CBS, arguing the report promoted "anti-Latino falsehoods" and demonized illegal aliens.

This statement is ridiculous. They aren't too keen on hearing the TRUTH, are they? REAL STUDIES have proven that illegal aliens are draining our hospitals with births including expensive emergency births and post natal care. Who do they think pays for these services?

I am tired of LaRaza and MALDEF trying to create an anti-American attitude. It is divisive and racist and I find it more offensive everyday.

Latino activists argue Couric's broadcast on illegal alien births was inconsistent, because in June she is scheduled to receive an award named for Alice Stokes Paul, the author of the Equal Rights Amendment.

How inconsistent was it when Janet Marguia....leading the charge to silence any media, organization, or individual who opposes illegal immigration......was chosen as a keynote speaker at the National Press Club event a couple of weeks ago?

What sickens me is that what we view as a laughable double standard and hypocrisy, these groups and individuals see as their right as part of their "For The Race Everything, For those outside The Race, nothing" agenda.

Laura Ingraham filled in for Bill O'Reilly tonight. She was talking about the Couric segment and had this guy Francisco Hernandez (I think) on and he was saying that they pay property taxes so it pays for the medical care. Laura almost bust up laughing. She said, "Ya, Francisco I go into the hospital and tell them I paid my property taxes doctor so give me free hospital care. We Americans pay our property taxes and have to have health insurance in order to get health care." He just kept trying to spin it and spin it. These guys just lose all credibility when they do this. Every American who has to pay for health insurance and property taxes for schools, etc. knows they aren't pulling their load and they know this guy is lying through his teeth.

I watched that Gogo. Now that was funny! Laura Ingraham sure is quick and on the ball. She really put this nit-wit in his place.

She sure is. How can you argue her point. In our first meeting here today with concern people in our city one of the ladies brought out that her friend just spent a lot of money for health issues for her child and an illegal alien got free medical care for breaking his leg.
