Time for Congress to act and pass either Vitter's bill in the Senate or Steve King's bill in the House and stop the madness of automatic birthright citizenship of children born to non-citizens who are not legal permanent residents.

The Chinese have joined the ranks of foreigners who treat us with contempt, because in their eyes we are contemptible weaklings who are getting exactly what weaklings deserve.

Our government has made a mockery of US citizenship, a joke out of the American People, and our nation, the laughing stock of the world.

WOMEN BUSTED IN ‘BIRTH TOURISM’ RAID VOW TO STAY IN USA AND FIGHT

After having been busted for a scheme to have U.S. citizen babies here, Chinese women are fighting to stay in the country despite allegedly committing visa fraud.

Seven of the maternity hotel clients have procured the services of Irvine lawyer Ken Z. Liang, according to the OC Register.

“Everything was in a state of stress and disarray,” Liang said in regards to one maternity hotel operation that federal agents raided over a week ago. “They were expecting a lot of peace and quiet.”

The maternity tourism schemes have been investigated in regards to visa fraud, marriage fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, and conspiracy.

Clients of the maternity tourism scheme in question, You Win USA, paid between $40,000 and $80,000 to the scheme’s owners, Chao Chen and Dong Li, to facilitate the allegedly fraudulent visa applications, travel, lodging and meals.

According to warrant documents, the fees did not include medical fees that investigators say often went under or un-paid.

Liang responded to the claims that his new clients didn’t pay, saying that clients get price reductions for paying in full, reported the Register.

Family members have reportedly taken flights into the U.S. from China in join the women attempting to remain in America through the remainder of their pregnancies. Liang said, the Register reported, “All the families I talked with have accepted their current predicament, but they are angry at You Win pregnancy center for telling them their operation was completely legal. And all the individuals paid a premium to be at this so-called legal, seven-star pregnancy center.”

Twenty-eight of those connected to the maternity tourism schemes have been designated as material witnesses, according to court documents referenced in the Register. Material witnesses are required to remain in the country, say government officials and the L.A. branch of the U.S. Attorney’s office.

No charges have yet been filed against any of the three maternity tourism schemes, and government officials are reportedly not targeting the pregnant women or other clients of the businesses despite the appearance to investigators of their complicity with visa fraud.

I don't even know what the feds think they're trying to do here. Apparently they don't either. "Tourism schemes". Since when were "tourism schemes" illegal? The women got what they wanted, a trip to the US, hotels to stay in while they wait for delivery, a ride to the hospital, children born on US soil whom they believe will now be citizens of the United States, which if they're treated the same way as illegal aliens, the children will be citizens of the United States, and I've no doubt California will issue them birth certificates and the US State Department will issue them a US Passport, and if the Chinese women are treated the same as illegal alien mothers of US citizens, they will be given a green card and made permanent legal residents of the United States.

So, I'm still trying to figure out what the crime is anyone has committted here. As outrageous as the whole situation is, this goes on every day by the thousands all across America by illegal aliens, and none of them have been arrested for having a baby on US soil, in fact best I can tell, Border Patrol takes them to the hospital and Medicaid pays the hospital bill, so if we don't like it which I'm sure most of us do not, then we must press for passage of Vitter's bill and bring an end to the practice of automatic birthright citizenship in the US for anyone other than the children of citizens and legal permanent residents.

What I believe will happen here is the Chinese women will hire lawyers who will sue ICE for interrupting their cozy arrangement and peace and quiet they needed to have their babies. And I fully anticipate that they'll win. You can't treat Chinese women here with visas differently than you treat millions of illegal alien Latino women here with no papers at all.

Let us know when they're investigating something we're paying ICE to do which is catch illegal aliens and deport them. We aren't paying ICE to prosecute tax evasion. The article says it isn't targeting the Chinese women for visa fraud and there were no reports of any plan to marry someone, fraudulently or otherwise, although with the kind of money they're throwing around, I imagine they'd be a good catch for someone if they aren't already married.

So far, I can't see a charge that will stick, but when you have one, let us know, because we'll all be delighted. What I think is going to happen is the federal government is going to sued for discrimination against the Chinese women. If the federal government raided emergency rooms and maternity wards looking for illegal aliens having babies in the United States, and did this routinely, then you'd have some leg to stand on. But since I've never heard of it, never read even one report about it, and since the federal government has adopted the sickening practice of granting permanent residence to illegal aliens who have children born in the US, you have no leg at all to stand on to prosecute these Chinese women or the businesses who help them come here and have their children.

You can't out of the blue get your panties in a bunch because Chinese women are here on visas paying American companies good money for the arrangements when you've ignored illegal aliens from other countries of other nationalities and race to do the same thing without any papers or money at all. In fact, correct me if I'm wrong, but Medicaid has routinely paid most of these hospital bills, then everyone signs up for Medicaid, food stamps, WIC, TANF and every other program they can get their hands into.

So, I think the only good that may come from this is passage of a bill by Congress, either Vitter's in the Senate or Steve King's in the House to stop this madness of handing out US citizenship to children of illegal aliens and tourists. We need 6 Blue Dog Democrats to get it to Obama's desk. Who knows what he'd do, probably veto it, but maybe not.
