An Avon man is under arrest after officials say he sold fake U.S. identification documents to an undercover cop.

22–year–old Jorge Luis Loera Esparza made and sold a fake US Immigration Card and Social Security Card for $100 to a detective in Eagle County.

The undercover officer set up the meeting with Esparza based a tip off from a concerned citizen.

After searching his apartment cops found software and equipment for making fake driver's licenses, vehicle insurance cards, social security cards and immigration cards.

Officers believe Esparza has made and sold more than a hundred fake documents.

He's being held on a $2,500 bond and has an immigration detainer.
