Legal Immigrants have never been the "enemy". Illegal foreign nationals (Illegal aliens) that have come here to steal, rob, lie and procreate as an industry are another story.

quote("That immigrant culture that has renewed us ... has been at the core of our strength," she said, according to the The Raleigh News & Observer. "I don't know when immigrants became the enemy.")quote

Never the enemy Ms. Rice but more to the point a failing government allowing uncontrolled immigration that threatens the low and middle income workers that were born here, look it's simply the numbers how many would be enough, the Bush administration encouraged those to come stating time and time again how much we need those who come across, doing jobs Americans would not do, put them in homes they could not afford destroying the housing market.

I'm always amazed at those in power/wealthy telling us who we should accept/tolerate while they live in gated secure communities, second we no longer live in a country that ma and pa can immigrate here grab a mule and 40 acres and provide a living for 6 kids, it's gone I simply do not understand why that is difficult to understand,if we are to survive with a fair/similar quality of life then we must control our borders and monitor incoming folks and a yearly establish number.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
