TIJUANA – A young couple was detained Wednesday at the border by Mexican customs agents after a search of their minivan uncovered about $1 million in bundled U.S. currency hidden inside the rear seats.
The two occupants of the Chrysler Town & Country minivan, which had California license plates, were turned over to federal authorities, who planned to check with U.S. law enforcement officials to determine whether the minivan had been stolen in the United States.
The couple's van was pulled over as they entered Tijuana at the Otay Mesa border crossing. Within a few minutes, a search of the vehicle found the bundles of cash, inside the seats.
Heavily armed federal police officers and Mexican army troops were called in to reinforce Mexican customs agents at the Otay Mesa border crossing.

Obviously, someone sqeeled on them. Is that customary to search vehicles for "cash" in rear seats coming from the US into Mexico?
Now the MEXS have another $1,000,000 in US AID!!
And did anyone think this border problem was about "poor immigrants" or "the kids"??
GOOD ONE SIXX!!!!!!!
Now, I know what all that "spiritual training" is about. Confess on your drug buddies so Foxey can get some more mula!! Afterall, this is his last term too, so he'll have to build a little nest egg pretty quick...I mean no serious person can look in those eyes and say, "yep...you're hired"....he'll only get "thanks for stopping by and we'll be in touch".
Come to think of it....what would someone like Foxey do after being El Presidente of a Toilet Bowl?
Not a big demand there, I would think.
