HAMDEN — A town woman, 25, survived a vicious attack by a co-worker who allegedly tried to snap her neck, stomp on her chest, rape her and leave her for dead early Friday in East Rock Park, police said.

After the man drove off in her car, the severely beaten woman made her way from the park, down a hill through grass and branches, to a house on Ridge Road, and frantically rang a doorbell.

A resident who had been sleeping on the couch on the first floor heard a commotion and opened the door to a horrifying sight.

“The girl’s eyes were completely closed and blood was all over her face. It was like something out of a horror movie,â€

Still checking. But I agree, they just refuse to see that there are some really sick people out there and we shouldn't be forced to take them. I feel for this poor woman. How many more citizens have to suffer and maybe die before they wake up and realize what they are doing?

To start off, I feel very sorry for this women. Im glad Shes alive and hope and wish her and her family the best. Hope god blesses her and hope justice is made and he dies in prison. But That was him not all immigrants. All immigrants are not only mexicans and wether he happens to be mexican and a criminal so are millions of whites. Your telling me you and your families and friends are angels? Have you heard as many crimes similar to this one from an "illegal" as much as an american? You say and believe what you do because you Dint have the only option to survive and to give your family a better live by leaving your country. With this crisis you cry do you know what it is making 4 dollars a day? NOT even an hour. Im not in his favor. And he deserves in my opinion a worser punishment than just prison. I'm sick of the moral equivalence crap with which you libs constantly bombard us. Fact of the matter is illegal aliens kill more than 4,000 American citizens annually and those victims would be alive today if we closed the border and ejected everyone not here legally. This woman was brutally beaten, raped and almost killed because America tolerates violation of immigration laws. I'd remind you that Mexico is not a race. They probably don't teach that at Yale. I hope you respond the same way when you hear ethno-centric groups like LaRaza make generalizations about all Americans being racists, when ONE incident happens where an illegal alien is assaulted by an American. Do you get on LaRaza'a website and accuse them of making generalizations or stereotyping?

Unfortunately, when I got to the part in your comment where you started using the race card, I knew I didn't need to pay attention to anything else you said. The Race Card is just used by pro-amnesty types who have no good justification for the illegal invasion of our sovereign nation. They are just trying to silence the opposition. So they reflexively spout about racism in any discussion about the illegal invasion.

Have you looked in the mirror lately? You obviously stereotype and generalize yourself. Does calling others racist REALLY work to help you feel superior? I bet it doesn't last too long. Then you try going on a website and using the nickname "Yale08". Seriously, get over yourself.

On Thursday night, March 26th, a 25 year-old female bartender working at the Temple Grill in New Haven, CT gave a Mexican busboy a ride home. He attacked her in the car and then drove her to a park in nearby Hamden, where he proceeded to rape her, stab her, stomp on her chest and try to break her neck. She faked being dead and then crawled to a house for help.

The spin started right with Channel 8 in New Haven. Twice they stated that the woman was attacked by a "co-worker", only belatedly mentioning that "officers believe he is in this country illegally". The officer interviewed by Channel 8 said that the man was in his twenties, from Mexico.

The New Haven Register ran a story on Saturday, with the headline: Woman viciously beaten, raped [by Ann DeMatteo, March 30, 2009]

The Register began its cover-up with its lead sentence:

"A town woman, 25, survived a vicious attack by a co-worker who allegedly tried to snap her neck, stomped on her chest, raped her and left her for dead early Friday in East Rock Park, police said."

For the Register, the attacker was not an immigrant, or, more correctly, a suspected illegal alien. Rather, the attacker was a "co-worker".

Nowhere in the Register’s article was the immigration status of the attacker mentioned—even though the police knew he was from Mexico and TV had reported they believe he is the country illegally.

The Register article gave the gory details—"She stated the assailant tried to poke her eyes out with a stick…â€

The list of defendants is long and it includes Mayor DeStefano, [email him] who led the effort, Kica Matos [email her] of JUNTA for Progressive Action, Michael Wishnie, [email him] Clinical Professor of Law at Yale Law School, the councilmen and women who approved this ID Card, the administrators, the City of New Haven and the Yale Law School.

If this scumbag is an illegal alien, his employer should be added to that list. I hope the victim will sue for millions and win big!
