Thread: Defend Sen. Dole all ALIPAC'ers...Call to Action!!!

To whom it may concern,

Unfortunately your 'We-Can't-Make-It-Without-Illegal-Aliens' approach in the opinion article of Monday July 2nd may well fall on deaf ears since a very large majority of Americans - North Carolinians - DO NOT WANT AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS! Only greedy employers who think only of their bank balance, un-fit politicians who only think about the possibility of more votes, churches whose leaders only think about the collection plate contents, and the illegal aliens themselves want legalization of illegal aliens. Did either of those thoughts cross your mind while you were personally attacking our beloved N.C. Senator Elizabeth Dole?

Senator Dole did the right thing, as did Senators Burr, DeMint and the other 50 Patriotic Senators who voted against ramming S.1639 down the throats of Americans. Unlike many elites in Washington, hundreds of thousands of regular Americans ACTUALLY READ THIS BILL! Believe it or not, we are an intelligent enough lot to understand that our borders and ports can be secured and immigration enforcement can be obtained WITHOUT granting amnesty to millions of illegal alien leeches!

Tell me, WHO worked the jobs prior to the cheap labor- illegal alien invasion? Could the answer be - oh, I don't know - possibly AMERICANS? What will greedy employers do when workplace enforcement is taken seriously and they are forced to employ only LEGAL U.S. Citizens? Either go bust or pay a living wage, I expect. Americans WILL WORK for reasonable American paychecks.

My Letter:

Your attack on Sen. Dole is totally uncalled for and it shows how out of touch you are with the American people. Don't you read the polls? Are you so deaf you don't hear the cry of the American people who shut down the phones in Congress? I must not run in the right circles because I don't know ANYBODY who favored this bill.

You should know that it did nothing for security. You should know that laws already exist that are not being enforced. Why should anybody believe another piece of paper would make things different? You certainly are in the minority with this opinion piece!
