Deputies find illegal aliens hiding in manure
Deputies find suspected illegal immigrants hiding in manure
by Lindsey Collom - Dec. 16, 2010 03:58 PM
The Arizona Republic
Five suspected illegal immigrants who attempted to "conceal themselves in a pile of cow manure" were turned over to Border Patrol after fleeing from authorities, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office said.
Sheriff's officials suspect the five had been riding in a Chevrolet Suburban that failed to stop for a deputy near Storey and Eleven Mile Corner roads in Casa Grande. The deputy tried to pull over the Suburban after noticing it speeding and driving erratically at 6:33 a.m., according to a Sheriff's Office statement released Thursday afternoon.
Deputies lost sight of the vehicle during a pursuit but later found it abandoned near Randolph and Curry roads. Evidence found inside the vehicle indicated it had been used to smuggle illegal immigrants, the Sheriff's Office said.
Sheriff's deputies and Border Patrol agents tracked the vehicle's occupants to a dairy about two miles away, where they found a woman and four men that had tried to conceal themselves in cow manure. The Sheriff's Office said the five admitted to being in the United States illegally and were turned over to Border Patrol.
Authorities say they also arrested the Suburban's driver, identified as 48-year-old Gerardo Garcia of Eloy, after a citizen called 911 to report a man hiding in brush near the dairy. Garcia was booked into Pinal County Adult Detention Center on an unspecified warrant out of Maricopa County.

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

You silly illegals have really set the bar high. I thought it was funny when some other illegals were caught hiding in a truck full of sand, but this is great. What are you going to do next, jump in a septic tank? Well you made us laugh, now get your stinky selves back to mexico. And dont forget to apologize to the border agents who have to smell you.

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. - Pinal County sheriff's deputies say they've have arrested five suspected illegal immigrants who attempted to hide in a pile of cow manure.
A sheriff's deputy tried to stop a speeding vehicle Thursday morning in Casa Grande, but lost sight of it after a brief pursuit. The vehicle was later found abandoned and authorities say evidence found inside indicated it had been used to smuggle illegal immigrants.
Deputies tracked the vehicle's occupants to a dairy about two miles away, where they found a woman and four men that had tried to conceal themselves in cow manure. The five have been turned over to the Border Patrol.
They say the vehicle's alleged driver - 48-year-old Gerardo Garcia of Eloy - was found hiding in brush near the dairy. He's been booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center on a fraud warrant out of Maricopa County.
