DHS must talk with border communities, say authors of consultation amendment

LAREDO, March 28— The authors of an amendment which calls on the Department of Homeland Security to consult with local communities over the border wall plan say they will continue working to make sure that the “spirit of the law is being met.â€

The excuses need to end and a quality double layer fence needs to go up quickly. If the fence is not necessary as many try to say, then let the White House and Senator Hutchinson and other officials with fenced properties, lead by example, and take their fences down.
