Dr. Gene Rogers said he never wanted to be a political man.

For the last 40 years, Rogers has been a man of medicine. One of his first assignments was caring for soldiers during the Vietnam War. His last assignment was for the County of Sacramento in the Indigent Care Program. It is a job Rogers says he lost because of his attention on the county’s spending for illegal immigrants.

The program Rogers administered was for non-emergency specialist care for indigent citizens. When county budget cuts threatened to cut his staff, Rogers ordered a top to bottom review of patient files to make sure everyone getting care was eligible.

“I had asked one of the IT guys to run a program to see how much we were spending on undocumented aliens,â€

This story was live on Talk Raido out of San Fanscisco KSFO 560 about 2 or 3 months ago I will go to their site and check to log of the morning show Hosts and who their guests were and just when he was on the show.
It is the place were the recall of Gov. Gray (RED) Davis happened and I lived in the bay area at the time.

If people in the medical field were NOT so afraid of losing their
jobs, all of you would hear more about the abuses of
MEDICAID.

It is VERY EASY TO DETERMINE WHO IS LEGAL AND WHO IS NOT
WHEN YOU REGISTER A PATIENT FOR SERVICES. They do not
have a social security number and are given BOGUS numbers in
order to complete registration. This includes their children.
AND YES,
FREE TAXI..and there are some LONG rides on these bills...I have seen
some from as far away as Miami to Tampa....TAXI rides, folks. How is this
for logical govt spending.
FREE MEDICAL CARE
FREE TRANSLATORS...because HIPPA laws have made it illegal to
use volunteer translators anymore.
FREE LUNCHES WHILE THEY WAIT FOR THEIR FREE SERVICES

And those of us who have worked in hospitals have been guilt tripped
into believing this garbage...that we should care about all human beings
equally. BUT TRUST ME, the first time you get an illegal in your
dept who will speak NO english and 8 other kids and one on the way
and she is screaming at you in spanish because nobody in the close
vicinty speaks fluent spanish.......OR how about the Bosians and
Afghani who have sought political asylum here and they get in your face
in their language, yelling at you about being a woman and the USA
brought them here and they can get anything free.......but they will
not fill out the proper paperwork even with the highly paid translator
at your tax expense.

So welcome to some of the issues in hospitals and healthcare. And here'
in Florida...most hospital jobs require being bilingual. Well, I am....
but I took French and Latin.

So much for the late great USA.

Oh, and I, too got asked to "retire" because of a Bosian male cab
driver who threatened my "lowly woman self". Guess the hospital
did not want to be IEDed.

Sorry for ranting. Must go to work so I can have taxes taken out of
my paycheck to pay for more refugees and illegals...
