Dr. Ben Carson says Court Ruling is ‘Important Victory’ Against Obama Amnesty

    by Alex Swoyer
    27 May 2015
    Washington, DC

GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson reacted to Tuesday’s ruling out of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals against the federal government in upholding the injunction to delay President Obama’s executive action on immigration.

“It’s an important victory for those committed to preserving the rule of law, the essential consent of Congress and ultimately the voice of the people,” Carson said.

The court affirmed “a district court’s earlier ruling that granted an injunction to prevent the Obama administration from enforcing the executive action and moving amnesty programs forward,” as Breitbart News earlier reported.

The ruling comes as a major blow to the Obama administration, but is seen as a huge win for the 26 states who filed the lawsuit against Obama’s executive amnesty.

From Dr. Ben Carson in 2012 in a book he wrote:

Deportation is moral low road; create guest worker program

Is it moral for us, for example, to take advantage of cheap labor from illegal immigrants while denying them citizenship? I'm sure you can tell from the way I phrased the question that I believe we have taken the moral low road on this issue. Some segments of our economy would virtually collapse without these undocumented workers--we all know that--yet we continue to harass and deport many individuals who are simply seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Is there a way to apply logic to this issue and arrive at an intelligent solution? All we have to do is look to our northern neighbor, Canada. They have a guest worker program, which allows people to enter the country as officially recognized guest workers who pay taxes, receive benefits, and are able to come and go as they please without infringing on anyone else's rights. --

"moral low road"? Really, Doc? How dare you!

Any Republican who supports this candidate or any other who believes we are taking a "moral low road", because we want to stop illegal immigration and deport illegal aliens instead of handing them a guest worker permit to compete with American workers for jobs is NOT the person we need in our Oval Office.

Vet these candidates and hold the line.
