DREAMER' charged with stabbing man in Va.

On Thursday, police in Smithfield arrested Yunior Ramon Torres-Ortiz, 21, after he reportedly stabbed a co-worker at the Smithfield Packing plant on Church Road. The Mexican national then fled the scene, but was apprehended a few hours later in nearby Newport News, after seeking treatment for cuts on his hands.

About 1:45 a.m, police and emergency medical services responded to the plant, where the victim, a 45-year-old man had been stabbed repeatedly in the back with a pair of scissors. He was transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The vicious assault was the result of an altercation between the two men, according to police.

No details on the nature of the dispute have been given at this time.

Torres-Ortiz has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, and is currently being held at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail without bond. The assault remains under investigation, and more charges could be forthcoming.

Though Torres-Ortiz is listed as a 'legal resident,' he speaks very little English and may soon have a contingency hold placed against him by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Since President Obama granted amnestyby executive order, to those who claim to have been brought to the United States as minors (known as Deferred Action for Child Arrivals (DACA), many young illegal aliens now must be allowed to stay unless they are actually convicted.

Gone are the days when ICE agents can simply deport someone in the country illegally after they have been arrested, and identified as an illegal alien. Before Obama began tampering with immigration enforcement, to make it more illegal alien-friendly, if local authorities reported the detainee to ICE and agreed to release the alien into federal custody, without trial, deportation was a rather simple and foregone conclusion.

As for the Smithfield Foods, the company has a history of hiring illegal aliens...

After ICE agents raided the Tar Heel, NC plant in January 2007, and arrested 21 illegal alien workers, 500 workers with fake Social Security numbers were promptly fired from the factory. Another raid in August 2007, netted 28 more illegal aliens, all were from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.

As a result of the raids, many illegal aliens employed at the plant, left on their own, thus freeing-up jobs to citizens. Of course, President Obama, as a matter of policy, has ended all work site enforcement.

Smithfield will now be able to hire a Central American to replace him - cheaper.

Can't some legal beagle figure out a way to charge Obama with aiding and abetting a criminal? There has to be something in the fine print, I hope. At least the victim should be able to file a civil suit against Obama for the same, if I were on the jury the victim would never need another paycheck!
