UPPER DARBY — An immigration detainer was placed on a Drexel Hill man for a violation after being arrested this week for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl two years ago.

Lester Dionisio, 30, was arraigned Wednesday on charges of aggravated indecent assault on a child less that 13, indecent assault and corruption of minors.

According to court records, Upper Darby police initiated an investigation after receiving notice Nov. 11 from the Delaware County Children and Youth Services concerning the now 13-year-old victim.

Criminal Investigator Robert Bennett interviewed the teen and her mother who reported Dionisio was the son of a family friend living in the same house in 2011.

“(The victim) stated late one evening she walked downstairs to get her school bag,” Bennett wrote in the affidavit. “Lester asked her to stay and talk with him. He grabbed her, pulled her towards him and began kissing her on the lips. He pulled her to the sofa and continued to kiss her,” allegedly touching her breasts and vagina under her clothes and digitally penetrating her vagina.

When the girl’s mother approached Dionisio was startled and pushed her away.

Suspecting something was wrong the girl’s parents took her to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia followed by an investigation by CYS.

Dionisio, a citizen of Honduras, is wanted by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement for allegedly reentering the country after being removed for his criminal record.

Bail was set at $100,000 pending a preliminary hearing on Dec. 3 in district court on the township offenses.

The parents apparently took in him and gave him access to their daughter.

UPPER DARBY — A Drexel Hill man, facing charges for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl in 2011, was ordered held for trial after a preliminary hearing in district court.

Lester Dionisio, 30, was arrested in November for an alleged incident involving the then-9-year-old girl.

According to court records, the Delaware County Children and Youth Services alerted police who interviewed the victim and her mother.

Dionisio is the son of a family friend and was living in the victim’s home in 2011.

The alleged molesting involved kissing and touching the child’s breasts and vagina under her clothes.

The victim was transported to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for examination and CYS became involved.

Dionisio, a citizen of Honduras, has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for allegedly reentering the country after being removed for his criminal record.

He was ordered held for trial on charges of aggravated indecent assault on a child younger than 13, indecent assault and corruption of a minor.

He will be arraigned Jan. 15 in the Media Courthouse.
