This is a little far-fetched story to me. I don't see someone loading 4 camo dressed illegal aliens into his vehicle. That would be really really stupid. They could overpower him and kill him with his own gun, steal his SUV and be safe in Tuscon. However he handled it was pretty lucky if you ask me. I'm not saying I trust BP more than McCoy. It's just a very far-fetched story so I get the reluctance of BP to buy into it.

People also have to remember a statistic I just learned about reading an article the other day, 45% of BP agents are Hispanic, way way out of line with our demographics.

I see the BP accusations against McCoy as very plausible. Based on the article, I'm going to assume McCoy is basically a low wage worker. If that is true, he could have very easily decided to take the opportunity offered to pocket some quick under the table cash.
