    Equality of applied alien status

    Posted: 02/14/2009 07:40:17 AM PST

Recently reported by the Times-Herald, several Chinese illegal aliens working at a local restaurant here in Vallejo and Vacaville are to be deported to country of origin and the restaurant's owner to be penalized by fines and serve prison time for the hiring and housing these same aliens. This apparently to be accomplished through the District Attorneys Office, not really definite as to how the prosecution will be done as the Times-Hearld did not include that information.

Seems the letter of the LAW is being upheld, at least in this case but, and a big but! How about prosecuting drive by contractors that hire "Day Laborers" on Admiral Callaghan Parkway?

These Day Laborers are mostly "Illegal Aliens" that do not pay taxes to any government, least of all California or Solano County of which the district attorney works for. This branch of government that has the responsibility of enforcing law in effect only applies law selectively, or is convenient to enforce in order to appear effective. My opinion.

The contention is, does it matter which international border is violated by illegal aliens? It is they who are in violation of United States of America jurisdiction and whosoever supports or maintains these same aliens themselves should be equally deemed criminals and prosecuted the same as the restaurant owner, no exceptions.

And should the government agency responsible for enforcement be refractory in the application of law equally, they also should be held

accountable for this excursion of justice. I would very much appreciate far more effort applied to this government selective enforcement by the newspaper media and the TV, both commercial media, paid for by us, the customers.
