I just came from a discussion on another website talking about this incident.
Almost everyone posting there seems to be CONVINCED that Mrs. Hartley is lying about what happened. I don't get at all why so many people are so quick to say that.

I posted a long thing there and lets see if you all agree with one thing I said.

Is it true or not true in your minds that this cartel violence/illegal criminals from Mexico and all of that has been going on for a very very long time and that the truth is....the states along the borders of Mexico only knows about it because the rest of the country has not been privy to all of that information because it has until the last couple of years been ignored, not reported or reported on some back page of their newspaper.

elpaso, I believe the majority of the country, including many people living in the border states, have been insulated from the truth, as well as lied to, by both the government and the media. You might even describe the whole thing as a cover-up. No doubt in my mind!
