    Farmworkers march for better immigration
    Tomas Roman

SAN JOSE, CA (KGO) — About 2000 people marched in Santa Rosa today to celebrate the life and legacy of labor leader Cesar Chavez. This year, the United Farm Worker’s theme is immigration reform. They’re working to make Sonoma County a sanctuary county for illegal immigrants.

Winery worker Rosa Rubio says all she wants is to work.
For now...then the demands start for an endless supply of special considerations and breaks. Go Home.

I remember Chavez was always going on a hunger strike. I would suggest that all these pro-illegal immigrant groups should all go on a hunger strike and stay on it until we give amnesty to the illegal immigrants.

Again, PLEASE DON'T FORGET, "our" FAMILIES are at the mercy of these ILLEGALS and their Anchor Babies being murdered, raped, infected with disease, or robbed. But NOT to worry the Chamber of Commerce will get their "cheap labor" increasing "their privatized" PROFITS, thanks to Bush and the Congressional Leadership!!

Would that be at Nancy Pelosi's winery? I am sure she is rooting for you Rosa.

In his prime, Chavez fought constantly against illegal immigration. He frequently complained that the Immigration & Naturalization Service wasn’t tough enough. When Chavez would lead a strike, the grower would send trucks across the Mexican border, load them up with scabs, and race back to the Central Valley in the dead of night. Chavez even offered his UFW staffers to the INS to serve as volunteer border guards to keep Mexicans from sneaking into California.
Maybe we should turn the tables and make him our hero. They like to change history, but what would they do if we recognized him as a true American Patriot against illegal immigration? Maybe we should have anti-illegal immigration groups have protest's at sites named after him. Sounds to me like he founded the first Minutemen project protecting our southern border.
