Thread: Butler County Sheriff requests ICE shut down local businesses that hire illegals

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones has written a letter to President Trump, asking him to send Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to Ohio, specifically to his county.

In the letter, Sheriff Jones also calls for ICE to shut down businesses that hire illegal immigrants. He asks President Trump to come to Butler County, sit down with him and work on a plan to start "Work Place Enforcement".

Sheriff Jones says he's also tired of illegal immigrants committing crimes here, bringing in drugs and risking the health and safety of citizens "every day that this country allows them to be here".

Sheriff Jones spoke at a Trump rally in Sharonville last July.


Sheriff Jones is asking President Trump to initiate "Work Place Enforcement" to close businesses that hire illegals.

Now, we're talking!!! GO SHERIFF!! All Sheriffs should be doing this. All Police Chiefs should be doing this. All Governors should be doing this. Time for state and local officials and law enforcement get on the Trump Train to end illegal immigration in the US once and for all.

Trump needs to get more letters like this from government officials across the country.

It would certainly encourage him to stay strong on illegal immigration and to keep his
promises to the millions of supporters that put him in the WH.

Love this...send ICE to all the counties that will cooperate. Focus on that.

Get as many out of our country as quickly as possible...then laser target the Cities who are bucking the system after we get the Judge confirmed and the rest of Trump's cabinet in place.

Round them up...put them in FEDERAL TENT CITY for processing, on Federal Land, with a panel of Federal Judges. Serve time, and/or deport them.

In a letter to President Trump, an Ohio Sheriff urged him to send ICE agents to target businesses that employ illegal aliens.

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones asked President Trump to send Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to Butler County, Ohio, to begin a program of “workplace enforcement,” according to Fox 19.

“The American citizens are tired of dealing with this issue, tired of hearing on the news how an illegal alien committed a crime here and just gets to return home, tired of illegal aliens bringing and trading drugs in this country, and tired of losing jobs to companies who are willing to hire illegals and pay them far less wages,” said Jones in his letter to the President. “Our citizens are at risk to their health and physical safety every day that this country allows them to be here.”

Jones then asked President Trump to send in ICE because he believes there will be fewer people living on welfare if businesses cease hiring illegal labor.

“The American people who are forced to survive on welfare is disturbing. If we stop businesses from hiring illegal aliens, more Americans can get and maintain work,” Jones wrote.

In a recent interview with Fox Business, Jones was asked how popular his stance on immigration is in Butler County.

“It’s very popular, it’s very popular in our state. Trump won the state of Ohio even with the Governor of Ohio working against him, and never supported him,” said Jones during the interview.

When the host insinuated that what Jones is doing could be considered “nasty,” Jones fired back saying, “Hey, it’s not for sissies.”
