Collier County’s minority community leaders are concerned about the new role of the Sheriff’s Office immigration and deportation agents.
And sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement representatives want to educate the public of their partnership so that they aren’t afraid of them anymore.
“The purpose of this program is not to enforce immigration law,â€Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!
