U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 62 illegal immigrants in Lee County last week, according to a written statement released Monday.
The arrests of 55 immigration fugitives and seven other immigration violators came after a five-day law enforcement operation by ICE Florida Fugitive operations teams, along with the Lee and Collier county sheriff’s offices.

An aquintance, who ran a roofing company in Lee County FL, would get bids from subs that would handle the physical labor. Of course, he said he would hire subs whose bids were much lower than those of American companies. He had no qualms, and he said the illegal labor worked very hard. I held my tongue, for once.

From a June 2, 2008 ICE website press release:
"Estimates now place the number of immigration fugitives in the United States at approximately 573,000..."
Way to go ICE!! 62 down 572,938 left to go!!
While it's great that ICE is making these arrests, I always get the feeling that most of this is just for show. And with our borders continually left like a sieve, how many of these invaders will be back here in a month?[b][i][size=117]"Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die. Through love of having children, we are going to take over.â€

This raid was a result of rookie officer Widman's death at the hands of an IA criminal ICE had let go.
According to the local news our police are demanding our governor get involved and do something about Cuba not accepting IA's who are being held for deportation.
Officer Widmans death stirred up a hornets nest of protest and seems to have broken the Sanctuary type actions by our local government and police so we are finally going to see some Immigration Enforcement."A Government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have"* Thomas Jefferson
