ALIPAC NATION - Fremont citizens NEED YOUR PHONE CALLS, please read the action alert below and if you can help us we really appreciate it.

---------------------ACTION ALERT MODE--------------------
Dear Activists: 1) June 29th City Council Report 2) RALLY info for July 13th 3) Calling campaign between now and July 13th

1 - June 29th City Council Report: According to an Ordinance Petitioner a city councilman guaranteed the votes would be certified and he would, during the study discussion, go on record requesting the public have input on the hiring of an attorney should the city be sued IF the rally/protest was called off for the June 29th meeting. WELL THAT GUARANTEE WASN'T WORTH ANYTHING - what actually happened: The City Council, at the last minute, changed the format of the meeting - the Fremont Tribune reported that citzens with concerns about the Ordinance could meet with their city councilmen on a one on one basis from 6:15pm to 6:45pm - and any future dates for discussion would be announced later. There would be no citizen input during the "study discussion" . (Yes, I checked with the Nebraska Election Office and they can legally make changes without notice) The VOTES WERE NOT CERTIFIED as promised. I spoke with Fremont Election person Fred Mytty who said that he had the votes since June 21st, but his office didn't certify them until June 28th (took 3 hours) and didn't mail the certified letter to the city council until June 29th - which was too late for the city council meeting on June 29th. HERE's the question: was the certification delayed to give the ACLU time to prepare a lawsuit - what are the odds that the ACLU will file a lawsuit the day after the votes are certified on record at the July 13th city council meeting?

NOW........AT THE MEETING.....it's been reported by several attendees that a group os about 40 children and adults wearing One Fremont, One Future t-shirts refused to stand for the pledge of allegiance until a veteran told them to stand and show some respect - and they did stand but with their arms folded across their chests, silently. THEN at the end of the city council meeting someone in that group pulled out and waved MEXICAN FLAG!

---RALLY for JULY 13TH CITY COUNCIL MEETING----
This rally will NOT be cancelled - rain or shine - we are going to be there. We are asking everyone from Fremont and surrounding areas to join our PEACEFUL rally - spend an hour or stay the whole time. We appreciate the Fremont Police having a couple of officers there. Wear your RED, WHITE & Blue, bring your flags (I have extra), bring your signs (I have extra and sign suggestions are shown below). PLEASE, do NOT target ANY ONE country's illegal aliens in your signage! While 93% of the illegal alien population is from Mexico (GAO) 7% are from other countries and we are concerned about each and every illegal alien as well as wanting both our Southern and Northern borders secured:
