Immigrant raid apparent leads to $300,000 forfeiture

The forfeiture of $300,000 to the federal government appears to be part of an agreement resulting from a January raid on the China Super Buffet.

Agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the FBI descended on the Hinesville restaurant with federal search warrants in January and arrested 13 people for possible immigration violations.
Restaurant owner Da Zhong Ouyang is named in a legal advertisement concerning the $300,000 and a federal attorney who declined to be identified said, “He forfeits the $300,000 and he gets to keep his house and his restaurant.â€
