It is getting difficult to be in country illegally

It is getting difficult to be in country illegally

This may come as a shock to many of you, but legal immigrants have rights — it is the illegal immigrants who do not.

The reason why the debate regarding illegal immigration has "cooled a bit" can also be attributed to the fact that very slowly but surely, being illegally in this country is getting more and more difficult, and we as citizens and taxpayers are finally seeing some light.

Illegal immigrants do contribute to this economy through increased health costs, increased educational costs, increased crime rate, increased drug importation and the expense of billions of dollars for the ever-increasing crime of identity theft. If an illegal immigrant pays taxes, the only way one can do so is with a Social Security number obtained by stealing the identity of one who is alive or dead.

How far more effective would it be if the invasion of 12 million or so illegal immigrants would spend as much time and effort as they do wanting to change the laws in our country to improving the economical and political situation in their own countries?

I do not want the laws of this land changed to accommodate those who choose to disobey our laws, laws that were established to prevent such debauchery.

With the skills they have acquired during their stay in the US--with the leadership of many charitable and religious groups operating in their own countries--with the saturation of the internet, at least in the most populous areas--with their own indigenous talents and methods---with the billions in foreign assistance we are sending plus billions in raw commodity revenue---and with the year 'round absence of freakin' cold winters --they should do just fine.
