President's problem goes beyond immigration, says Gheen

An immigration enforcement activist says the events at a recent town hall meeting illustrate that President Obama continues to be a "renegade" president.
Obama was recently a guest of Congressman Jose Diaz-Balart (D) at Florida International University in Miami. The town hall meeting was broadcast on two far-left networks -- MSNBC and Telemundo -- and the crowd was decidedly packed with Obama supporters, giving the president the opportunity to tout his executive order amnesty and to slam the federal judge who ordered it halted.

Obama also affirmed that he has not given up on getting amnesty legislation approved during his presidency.
"We're going to keep on pushing," he declared. "And although so far the Republican Party has been pretty stubborn about this issue, if they start feeling enough pressure -- that can make a difference, because at some point there's going to be a President Rodriguez or there's going to be a President Chin. The country is a nation of immigrants, and ultimately it will reflect who we are and its politics will reflect who we are."

William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC), says the problem goes beyond immigration.
"The Executive Branch under Bush, and now more so under Obama, is completely renegade from the Congress, the Constitution and the existing laws of the United States of America," he contends.
Gheen goes on to urge the American people to hold the president and Congress accountable if a form of amnesty is ultimately enacted.
