Gil Cedillo Driver's Licenses for Illegals

    http://www2.dailynews.com/news/ci_2961490

DRIVER'S LICENSES: Sen. Gil Cedillo, D-Los Angeles, is making his fifth attempt in seven years to allow illegal immigrants to get California driver's licenses. The licenses would have to be of a different color or design than driver's licenses held by other motorists and they could be used only for driving, not as widely recognized identification documents. Cedillo says that should satisfy security concerns raised by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who vetoed a similar bill last year. The new bill is before the Assembly Appropriations Committee on Thursday.

    There he goes again!

Are they sure it's only the fifth time in seven years? Seems like he always has a new bill and attempts this every other month.
